Owned by the family matriarch, Millie “Nona” Abalafia, on this high-stakes’ night, Twyla, the determined grandchild, must convince Nona to retire and save the family’s struggling restaurant before long-buried secrets, romantic entanglements, and one very questionable chef bring the Abalafia family’s legacy crashing down.
The audience are the invited guests at the restaurant’s reopening celebration, interacting with the cast as the night unfolds and the family serves up an evening of love, memory, with a dash of family dysfunction.
